We've made several improvements to data entry and validation across the platform.

Odometer readings via the mobile app

We've resolved an issue where drivers could enter invalid odometer readings in the mobile app using decimal points or special characters. The app now properly validates entries, ensuring only whole numbers are accepted. This prevents readings from failing to update and causing issues with odometer calculations.

Vehicle defect completion dates

We've fixed a bug affecting defects created directly with a 'Completed' status in the new interface. Previously, these defects weren't recording a completion date, which meant the 'Days open' calculation displayed incorrectly. Completion dates are now captured properly regardless of how a defect is created.

Tyre tread depth entry limit

You can now record tyre tread depths of up to 50mm when completing checksheets, up from the previous 20mm limit. This accommodates vehicles with deeper tread patterns whilst maintaining all existing validation and functionality.
