Driver App version 4.9.18 now available on Android and iOS

What's included?

This update addresses several issues affecting the FleetCheck Driver app, including security improvements, login and synchronisation problems, and document handling issues.

Several bugs were causing crashes and data synchronisation issues. These included problems with trip syncing, database locking, settings page performance, and login processes—particularly for drivers using single sign-on (SSO). We've also fixed issues where drivers could see other drivers' pending inspections when sharing one device and where dates of birth were being stored incorrectly.

Document handling has been improved following customer feedback. The "Mark as Read" button is now disabled until a driver has actually viewed the document, ensuring read receipts are only generated when documents have been opened. We've also resolved crashes that occurred when marking documents as read on iOS devices.

How do I use it?

The changes are automatic—simply ensure you're using the latest version of the FleetCheck Driver app (4.9.18) from the App Store or Google Play Store.

The main changes you'll notice are:

• Password reset: The forgot password screen now shows a consistent message for all email addresses entered

• Documents: You must tap "View Document" before you can mark a document as read

• Login: SSO login now works correctly on the latest iOS versions

• Pending inspections: You'll only see your own pending inspections, not those created by other drivers on the same device

• Settings: Changes to settings are now saved when you leave the settings page, rather than after each individual change
